Our Mission & Story

“Feminism isn’t about making women stronger. Women are already strong, it’s about changing the way the world perceives that strength.” — G.D. Anderson

Our Mission

Homelessness along with a lack of security, safety, and care, is a grave issue numerous people in the world face. In the United States alone, there are over 250,000 homeless women and girls, who usually have nothing. That number doesn’t account for the tens of millions of women and girls elsewhere around the world who face homelessness and its effects. There are a myriad detrimental impacts homelessness has on a woman, not including the dangers of sexual assault and physical and domestic violence. Homelessness, is more than the obvious lack of residency, it’s a state that impacts women physically, emotionally, and mentally, while leaving them with nothing.

Every woman deserves to feel confident in themselves regardless of their socioeconomic status, or where they may live, and are entitled to have access to products that are basic needs. The goal for creating beaUtybundle is to provide women with a bundle of love that not only includes necessary health products, but also a message that they are not alone. Each bundle we package includes hygienic products, feminine products, cosmetics, personalized notes, and more. We hope that each bundle opened empowers women to be brave, while also encouraging them to have self-confidence and self-love.

At beaUtybundle we believe that Girls Support Girls. That’s why at beaUtbundle, our Ambassadors make it their mission to connect with the local women in need closest to them to be an advocate, supporter, and a friend throughout their struggles. Aside from distributing our care bundles, we spread the word about the effects of women’s homelessness, engage with the community, host events with local shelters, organize service days, advocate for reform within the community and governmental reform.

We endeavor to foster feelings of strength, beauty and courage in all women through our bundles, advocacy and action programs.

How We Started

Hello! My name is Elle Ruminski and I am the founder of beaUtybundle. Growing up in a family where community service was highly prioritized, I realized quickly that I have a deep passion for service and that with my platform, I have the responsibility to use it for good.

In addition, I am very interested in women’s rights and female empowerment. I have my incredible, trailblazer mom to thank for my passions. She has always instilled in me the values of confidence, love, bravery, and courage, which have shaped me to be the young woman I am today. Working in homeless shelters, I had the opportunity to work closely with various shelters’ inhabitants and learned how these same principles that were taught to me were not taught to these women. I further learned just how tough homeless women’s situations are and that they were the true testaments to courage, strength, and beauty. I finally heard my calling, which led me to create beaUtybundle—a nonprofit that provides products, love, and support to women experiencing homelessness, but also an organization that acts as a champion for women and advocates for our rights.

I started beaUtybundle towards the end of my freshman year, and since starting it, I have had the most incredible experiences working with shelters, building a powerful community, engaging with young women all around the world, and most importantly, learning from women who teach you the true definition of resilience and force.
